Is quartz good for a watch?
Quartz requires less maintenance, are an order of magnitude more accurate at timekeeping (you know, the entire purpose of a watch), are less likely to be damaged as a result of impact to the case, and you don't have to worry about winding and setting the time if you haven't worn it for a couple of days/weeks/months.
